What this desk holds: no accounts, no advertising trackers, a server log for security, and the messages readers send, kept only as long as they are useful.

The Passing Place is a set of static pages. There is no account to create, no newsletter to subscribe to, and no advertising or analytics script on any card. Nothing on the site asks for a payment detail and nothing on the site stores one.

What is held

Server logs. The site is served by a content network that records a request for security and for counting: address, time, page. These are kept by the operator of that network under its own policy.
Messages. If you write to contact@lewis-car-rental.com, the message and your address are held in a mailbox for as long as it takes to answer, file a correction or, if you have sent a photograph, credit it.
Nothing else. No profile is built from your reading, and no reader's address is sold, rented or passed to an operator whose service a card describes.

Asking for a message to be deleted

Write to contact@lewis-car-rental.com with the word deletion and the address you wrote from. Messages are removed unless they are the record of a correction that is still standing on a card, in which case the correction stays and the message that carried it is reduced to the fact and the date.
